Five High-Paying, Low Stress Jobs

No pain, no gain, this sums it all. In this highly competitive world, where there is absolute cut-throat competition, stress in job is quite a common thing. How about a panacea for all these problems? Yes there are some job options available which are high paying and yet low stress. Let's talk here about such kind of jobs that are low stress and yet high paying, who knows, perhaps you may find your panacea.
1. Optometrist: 
An optometrist examines eyes and other body parts related to vision. They are also involved in diagnosing, treating and managing diseases, injuries and other disorders related to the eyes. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage of optometrists was $94,990 in May 2010.  

2. Materials scientists: Materials scientists study the structure, composition, reaction and other properties of substances. They use their expertise in developing new materials, products or processes. A bachelor's degree in chemistry is necessary. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage for materials scientists was $84,720 in May 2010.

3. Economist: Economists study the production and allocation of goods, resources and services. They research and analyze economic issues. A bachelor’s degree is a necessity. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage of economists was $89,450 in May 2010. 

4. Aeronautical Engineer: Aeronautical engineers design aircraft according to the aerodynamic principals and study the behavior of various materials which are used in the design of the aircraft. They must have at least a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, The median annual wage of aerospace engineers was $97,480 in May 2010. 

5. Industrial Designers: Industrial designers develop innovative designs and user-friendly concepts for products of everyday use such as cars, home appliances and toys. A bachelor's degree is required for most entry-level jobs. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage of industrial designers was $58,230 in May 2010.
