OVERVIEW : Contract manager is responsible for maintaining the relationships and contracts between the company and the suppliers. The main role of the contract managers is to maintain a long term and cordial relationship between the company and the suppliers.

JOB DESCRIPTION : Contract managers should have a business degree in management. They should have experience in the fields of marketing and sales or contract research. They also manage the competitive bidding and selection process. They solve all the issues between suppliers and the management of the company. They have to ensure the smooth functioning of the relationship between the two.
