English as a Second Language

OVERVIEW : English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers teach the English language to non-native speakers of English and help these students learn to speak, read and write in English.  ESL teachers most often handle a type of class in which students don't speak the same language. The goal of an ESL teacher is to make their students gain the same English proficiency as native speakers.

Their main aim is to lucidly present English language to immigrants and various other students and adults so that they can comprehend English and can survive in an English speaking environment and workplace.
